Sculpture, Figurative Sculpture, Contemporary Art, “WOMAN ON A MISSION” by Florida Contemporary Artist Mary Ann Ziegler

This sculpture could be of any woman. She is ageless, exotic and on a mission. Her blowing skirt shows the intent of her actions. While the statue appears to be substantial in weight, because of the materials used it weighs less than two pounds and could easily be shipped to any location.

Abstract Mixed Media Art, Contemporary Painting, “NEW EXPERIENCES IN ORANGE AND TURQUOISE” by Florida Contemporary Artist Mary Ann Ziegler

A sweet piece of art that will lighten up a neutral area. It reflects texture and style that could be interpreted as western. I learned this technique some years ago in Colorado attending a workshop with an international artist. I still fall back on the classic abstract look that is frequently used in this medium.

Contemporary Painting, Mixed Media Art, “A STUDY IN BLUES AND TANS” by Florida Contemporary Artist Mary Ann Ziegler

Shapes fascinate me as do the images on quilts. Anything done in fabric can be reproduced in paper and paint. This patchwork in color, size, and texture is a testimonial to those that work in these mediums.
